The program focuses on essential operational and management areas building on prior knowledge in sustainable hospitality operations, and tourism, while introducing a strong understanding of customer service, event management and the global hospitality industry.
Hospitality management as a profession requires one to possess strong interpersonal communication skills, be meticulous and have business sense. The first step in making a career in the field of hospitality is to pursue a course from a good college and one of the most popular programmes pursued by students right after their Class 12 in this field is Bachelor of Hotel Management (BScH&HA). The Global Hospitality Management graduate certificate program offered by Heritage Institute of Hotel and Tourism is open to all international and national students. This program will complement any intermediate, diploma or degreeenable applicants to gain knowledge, skills and job placements to work in the hospitality industry. Graduates of the Global Hospitality Management program will have significantly more management ability specific to the hospitality industry than graduates from a diploma program in a similar field and will be able to progress into a management position in a hospitality organization very quickly upon completion of the program. This three-year graduate certificate program is structured to meet the growing needs of the hospitality and tourism industry. The program focuses on essential operational and management areas building on prior knowledge in sustainable hospitality operations, and tourism, while introducing a strong understanding of customer service, event management and the global hospitality industry.

  • Details of 3 years program recognized by NCHMCT by Ministry of Tourism of India:
      •  
      • 1st year i.e., 1st and 2nd semester of theory and practical classes.

     

      • 2nd year i.e., 3rd semester of theory and practical classes and 4th semester – Industrial Internship.

     

    • 3rd year i.e., 5th and 6th semesters of theory and practical classes.

Entry Criteria

The programme will commence in August.   Candidates should be above 18 and below 25 years of age, as on 1 July of the year of joining the Programme.   Clear pass in Class XII  from a Board Government recognised with minimum 50%   The programmes requires a Class XII English subject mandatory.

A 3-year H&HA degree graduatefrom HIHT will be prepare for various positions in the hospitality and tourismfield. Career possibilities includefood and beverage service and production, conference and banquet operations, room division management and administration not only in five-star hotels, as well as in cruise lines, tourism, aviation and retail outlets. With more experience and knowledge, higher management positions and executive level opportunities will become available.
